Application – a step-by-step guide

All prospective students, with the exception of exchange students, regardless of country of origin, should apply via the national admissions website

Step 1. Find a Programme/course

The Chemistry Section offer eight different Master programs in English, as well as courses in English.

Step 2. Check that you meet the entry requirements

Check that you fulfil both the general requirements for studying at the University, and the special requirements for the programme/course you are interested in.

General requirements for Master's programmes:

- An academic degree (i.e. a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent, at least 180 ECTS.)

- Proficiency in English equivalent of English 6/English Course B. You can demonstrate that you meet the English language requirement through certain upper secondary (high school) studies, certain university studies, or an internationally approved English test. Step 4. Arrange for your documentation to be sent to Sweden

In order to document your eligibility, you must provide University Admissions in Sweden with copies of your previous study information, as well as document your English proficiency. All documents should be sent to University Admissions. They are not processed directly by Stockholm University.
