How to apply, exchange student

Application procedure

This section contains a step-by-step description on how to apply as an exchange student to the Chemistry Section at Stockholm University

The application procedure for exchange students differs from that of non-exchange students. As an exchange student, you must be nominated by your home university. You will remain registered at your home university and apply through the International coordinators at your home university.

Application process

1. Find out if there is an exchange agreement between the university you are currently attending and Stockholm University by consulting our exchange partner database or by contacting your home university.
Click here for a link to our partner universities database.

https://www.moveonnet.eu/

This page contains a full database of all exchange agreements.

2. Contact the International coordinator at your home university for further information about application procedures and admission requirements.

3. Browse our course list to decide which courses you are interested in applying to. If you are interested in doing a research project, please contact us for further details on how to apply.

4. After you have been nominated by your home university we will contact you with further details on how to proceed with your application.

5. Once you have submitted your application, we will contact you to confirm your learning agreement.

6. The choice of courses cannot always be guaranteed, although every effort will be made to give students the courses they have chosen. If in advance courses are cancelled or you do not meet the requirements, you will be contacted by your department at Stockholm University. The University cannot be held responsible for cancelled courses or students not being accepted onto courses due to classes being full or students not meeting the academic requirements.
